We are getting very close. And with Wave 5 having hit the dapps, the end game is in sight.

We’re covering a lot here today, and since this newsletter is going out so late the next one won’t hit until Sunday morning.

Gold Wave #5 Hits | That’s It!

As predicted, the 5th wave hit on Wednesday and tallied another 10m gold (same as wave 4). The results were somewhat as expected, with Blastr standing out as it returned to prominent status (250k gold).

Action: Keep an eye on many dapps as they whip up original methods to dish out all that gold in such short time. Read ico’s quick reactions, and also keep going in this newsletter to see a few more options.

Revised Gold Price: $7.35

Take this with a grain of salt of course, as we all just rely on one dude to give an accurate estimate of gold without really knowing what will happen with distribution in two weeks.

Following Wave 5, Stats revised his estimate and only changed it by a penny to a smooth $7.35. He also noted that the markets are down bad, and that was BEFORE an even larger dip since his tweet.

Action: Steady here. Not much you can do, unless you want to panic sell your gold on Pump.Market for $4.

Thruster Launches 7-days of Gold

Thruster has been my primary DEX of use on Blast and received the most gold in wave 5 (bringing their total to 7.3M).

With such an insane amount of gold to hand out in just 12 days, they’ve launched a 7-day campaign where each day will feature one of their partners and a ton of gold.

Action: Keep notifications on, and participate where possible.

IKB’s Final NBA Contest (maybe)

IKB has been my biggest farm, although I’ve paid probably $2.50 per gold so far playing and betting. But its been fun! Especially the first few rounds of the NBA Playoffs.

And tonight might be the final opportunity to earn on NBA Pick Ems as the Celtics will likely close it out in a sweep. And to celebrate, the platform has 20k gold to go out (although its split with MLB Pick Ems and contest for both leagues).

Action: IKB got another 250k gold this round, and that is A LOT to hand out once NBA is done. Will they do a retroactive drop to the trophies leaderboard? Or just dish it out to daily MLB contests (ew). Either way, worth keeping an eye on them.

6x More Jackpots To Go (maybe)

There have been 22x jackpots so far, and by my predictions there will only be another 6x by TGE (one every 1.77 days).

But that would mean an absolutely absurd 433k/per jackpot on average, a number that has only been topped 4 times. Plus, the jackpot keeps growing!

What might happen:

A) The jackpots ramp up in frequency, and many projects win moderate amounts as TGE approaches.

B) Some projects win HUGE amounts, like the time Pacmoon won 900k gold. Although its hard to imagine WHICH projects would get this.

C) We get some jackpot news from Pacman about HOW this gold will be split up as TGE nears. There are many deserving projects that should get a piece.

Action: Load up the deck with $bWool, $bPepe, $PAC, and as many innovative NFTs as you can fit in there.

$Andy Challenges $PAC For Memecoin Crown

By now you’re well aware of Pacmoon, their innovation in the SocialFi space, and their relative dominance as the top memecoin on Blast.

However, the hype train for $PAC has slowed of late, as the price is down 60% from ATH and the timeline fills with discontent. The team has promised a new and improved system.

Plus there’s a new challenge to the PAC crown: $ANDY, which is up over 200% this past week (now at $0.20) and recently launched a comic-access collection on Blastr.

Action: Follow Andy’s account, and consider picking up a small bag and putting it into your jackpot. The memecoin crown is WIDE OPEN on Blast, especially considering that even Pacmoon has never even cracked a $100m market cap.

Fantasy Top Drops 1m Gold Next Week

The other big winner in Gold Wave 5 was Fantasy Top with 1.5M gold, which they intend to distribute almost immediately.

Starting on Monday, they will be hosting 4 competitions across all tiers, each with roughly 250k gold to go around. That is A LOT.

Action: This could be the final hurrah for Fantasy Top, as the platform may struggle to retain users once they lose the Gold incentive. BUT, they ship quickly and have been arguably the flagship dapp on Blast, so its always worth participating for projects like that.
