If this was New Year’s Eve we’d be at the loud part of the countdown. And if it was Y2K, we’d have that same feeling of wtf is about to happen.

I remember that night. And nothing happened.

But I don’t think that will be the case for Blast, although its TGE is coming at a very odd time in the market. Looking at the charts today, things are DOWN, and the latest L2 to launch, zksync, has opened at a sub $5B valuation.

Now of course, this is Pacman we’re dealing with, the guy who launched a marketplace that completely upended the NFT scene over the last 2 years.

So although we’ve been speculating on the price of gold, I doubt the delivery of said asset will be as straightforward like it has been for other airdrops.

This not a normal blockchain launch.

We’ve relied heavily on one dude’s analysis of Gold supply for our price estimate (thank you, Stats), and now we have another dude with calculations.

And they’re very similar, which is encouraging but also may not do much to ease the fears of a dramatically lower gold price.

Fantasy Top: 1M Gold This week

Already mentioned last week, but by the time you read this there will only be a few minutes left to enter a deck into Fantasy Top.

And by god there is so much gold to give out across these four.

Action: A common deck will be dirt cheap, like less than 50 bucks. Doesn’t mean it win gold though. I think if you have $300 to burn, then there’s probably a good play here somewhere.

$ANDY Continues To Surge

Nothing new, but $ANDY continues its run up the meme coin standings. Meanwhile, $PAC is down 8% on the day, as the team promises a new system following the abrupt end of V2 due to the privatization of twitter likes.

That being said, $PAC still has 5x the holders that $ANDY does. But things can move fast in the space!

Action: Might be too late to buy $ANDY here, but hey you could have said that when I wrote about it 24 hours ago and been wrong!

The Jackpot Approached 3M Gold

Ico’s gonna hate me for this, since he already hated my tweet.

But the jackpot is getting LARGE, and if Pacman intends to award that before TGE then there is gonna be gold flowing in the streets.

Action: Stack that deck. I’ve got $PAC and a ton of Blastr NFTs in there.

$USDB | Top Stablecoin

As TGE nears, Pacman has awoken on Twitter. Yesterday, he noted that USDB, Blast’s native stablecoin, has reached 5th in global stablecoin volume standings.

Pretty incredible for a stable thats less than 3 months old. And who knows where it will go post-TGE.

Action: Move some stables over and stake them? That’s about it.
