How Many Tokens Will We Get 🏦

Tokenomic Rumors, Governance, Retro Gold, and Pacmoon Rise

Welcome to Blast Beat.

If you’re reading this, know that it’s too late to farm Gold in Season 1. But there could be a Season 2! We’ll keep track of what’s coming down the pipe on Blast until TGE and after.

Nothing in the newsletter or on my Twitter account should be considered financial advice. This is my own opinion and I’m just writing about what I see out there. You are responsible for what you do with your money and crypto.

If it’s too long, just skip to the Action points in yellow.

Notable Numbers

Current Gold Estimate: $3-7

Remaining Gold Waves: 0

Jackpots Distributed: 23

Days Until TGE: 2 days

Blast Beat | June 24

Well this is it. The final day to farm gold.

As per Pacman, all gold must be distributed by 8am tomorrow morning to be eligible for the token launch on Wednesday.

The end of journey for many. But perhaps the start of a new one?

I feel like its quite obvious that Blast will see a Season 2, where many more tokens are available for people who continue to play on the dapps and gamble their money across the network.

And since so many are in need of a break, and many non-farmers are likely tired of hearing about Blast, there may be even fewer players in round two.

Which is a massive opportunity, despite the big opportunity many of us faded/were late to in the last few months.

Stay sharp friends.

  • Blast Set To Launch on UpBit

The Blast Tokenomics | Speculation

OK, take this info with a grain of salt, as its all speculative and based entirely on some on-chain sleuthing.

But the contracts have been deployed for $BLAST, and they currently point to potentially 50% being released to the community.

There are five separate contracts with varying amounts of tokens in them:

  • 50B tokens (50%)

  • 33B tokens (33%)

  • 14B tokens (14%)

  • 2B tokens (2%)

  • 1B tokens (1%)

The current thinking is that the 14% will go to the airdrop, and the 2% and 1% will go to Blur stakers and farmers. Then perhaps the 33% and 50% to team, treasury, season 2, and governance.

Governance + Vesting

All weekend we’ve seen rumors that the airdrops will require vesting, meaning we won’t be able to claim all of our allotted gold up front (common for airdrops).

This has been somewhat confirmed as of this morning.

And now we’re also seeing evidence of a governance model coming to blast, via the launch of the Blast Foundation twitter.

But again, we don’t know anything, and 99% of the people on here are focused on one single metric this week: the price of gold.

And given all these recent developments, its clear the market is split on what that figure may be:

Blast Gold is currently trading at about $3.40 on the pre-market.

Blast Set To Launch on UpBit

Which is a popular exchange in Asia.

And who are we kidding, its very likely the token will launch on many other exchanges this week, considering its held a top 5 or 6 FDV across all blockchains for weeks now.

Retro Gold Airdrops | IKB + Fantasy Top

In this final day of Gold distribution some of the top dapps are distributing their remaining gold back to top users.

Personally I received about 10% of my gold stack back from IKB, and also got my very little amount of gold on Fantasy Top doubled.

Pacmoon x Mocaverse

Mocaverse is a very-hyped NFT collection from one of the biggest companies/VCs in the space (Animoca Brands), and they’ve got a token launching next month.

And yesterday they announced a partnership with Blast’s very own Pacmoon, starting with a 4-day campaign where users can earn both $MOCA and $PAC tokens by tweeting about them.

Action: Write a couple tweets and get them noticed by pacmoon and the mocaverse guy.

Thanks everyone for reading! Feel free to drop questions and feedback in the comments or on twitter.
